Softer and chewy with pieces of crystallised ginger baked in them, these twice-baked biscuits are similar in style to gingerbread. A mix of ground spices – ginger, cinnamon and cloves – gives them a unique flavour.
Fine Irish ingredients are at the heart of these biscuits: Irish butter, free-range eggs from a small West Cork farm, top-quality oats, and many other natural products sourced here in Ireland.
The doughs are all made in small batches, the cookies are portioned and shaped by hand, then baked in a traditional oven. Because every cookie produced is individually hand-made no two ever look exactly alike. All are equally delicious!
